Hey--Barbi here. I am so incredibly proud of our kids this week (especially today). Since Dave & Jen spent most of the morning driving around to get the wonderful, air-conditioned green van back to us, and Kevin spent the whole day finishing the roof, I got the wonderful opportunity to watch our kids show us how amazing they could be! I could seriously cry when I start to think about how much pride I have of their attitudes while they got up extra early (5:45am) to go to Faith Fellowship Baptist Church to finish all of our work. In the last three days, we have completed and accomplished an amazing amount of work. Here is what was accomplished...

OUTSIDE
-front windows cleaned & stained (Kristen-Dad, you'd be so proud!)
-mulched & weeded all beds
-trimmed all bushes
-sprayed cracks in parking lot & sidewalks
-painted all doors
-back windows cleaned & stained
-back wall (3 coats of paint)
-side wall (2 coats of paint)
-side wall vines torn down & disposed of
-patio area cleaned out
-scrubbed opposite side brick wall
-all mowing of entire property
-weed trimming

SHED (pretty much everyone, but Brian was the all-dayer)
-scraped
-primed
-painted
-organized on inside
-vines pulled away & disposed of

ROOF (Dan, Kevin, Josh, Aaron, Jarod, Derek)
-finished 1700 sq. ft. roofing project, completed with vents and caps
-steeple painted
-gutters cleaned out & stabilized (Wes, Ethan, Derek)

KITCHEN (Reilly, Katie, Mandy)
-washed down all cabinets, counters, appliances, walls, & floors
-oven-cleaned the pans
-cleaned out inside of cabinets
-divided out the expired food
-cleaned out inside of fridge
-organized towel drawers & other cabinets & drawers

NURSERY (Kristen)
-washed windows
-washed down walls
-vacuumed

UTILITY CLOSET (very, incredibly yucky) BETHANY, LIZ, CARISSA, and more
-emptied out
-vacuumed
-scrubbed down walls, floor, shelves
-threw old stuff out
-organized supplies

GIRLS BATHROOM
-entirely scrubbed down from floor to ceiling

GUYS BATHROOM (Dana, Caleb, Derek, Ethan, Kristen, Katie, Mel)
-entirely scrubbed down
-painted walls and stall dividers
-replaced stall door hinge & spring

SMALL FOYER ROOM (Liz, Carissa)
-dusted
-vacuumed
-organized

MAIN FOYER
-vacuumed (Mel--all day yesterday almost!)
-trash emptied
-borrowed carpet cleaner & cleaned carpet

SANCTUARY
-dusted all woodwork
-vacuumed

Kelly has a message--Dad, I can paint, and I'm actually pretty good at it.

ANYWAY--THESE KIDS ARE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! and we love them very much. They are representing their families and church and their God very well. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to see your kids in action.

Another roof, VBS decor, Friday has roofing and the ladies doing a teen girls banquet! (Friday also has the Level 2ers leaving for PHX)
